003 : Darkest dungeon: Vertical Slice

In this project we have made a vertical slice of the game Darkest Dungeon where we mainly tried to recreate the combat in the game to the best of our abilities, In this project i once again have teamed up with a different set of developers and game artists to recreate the core elements of the combat.

we were given a tiny clip of the game and we were tasked to copy everything we saw to the best of our abilities and make a complete gameplay loop out of it, My main work in this project was that i would lay the foundation of the combat by creating a turn system that would keep track of who'se turn it was and what they could do in said turn by using enum and states.

i have also helped around with the health and damage scripts and have combined and integrated them so they work with the turn system and also done some art implementation. our team has worked very hard on this project and i am very happy with how it turned out as with a first glance you cannot tell it's a copy!.
